MARINE engineer Chris Tester is now in hospital in Plymouth having been flown home from the Caribbean where he was shot in the head by armed robbers.

The 37-year-old, a former member of staff at an Ipplepen pub, landed back in the UK following an appeal to raise money to pay for him to be medically evacuated to Derriford Hospital for further specialist treatment.

However, it has been revealed he may have lost all or part of his sight from the injuries sustained when robbers raided his parents’ restaurant Boxer Shack in Antigua on Christmas Day.
