ANGRY customers say they are unable to obtain shoes left for repair at a Teignmouth shop which closed without warning.

Keith’s Cobblers, Regent Street, shut without warning on Friday after the premises were repossessed by Paignton landlords in a rent dispute.

The locks were changed and nobody is allowed to remove any of the machinery and goods inside, including repairs.

One man said he was waiting to find out how and when he could retrieve an expensive pair of boots, and it is understood that at least one holidaymaker has a repair inside.
