A PLAYING field has been covered in sewage so often, there is now a call to have it put out of bounds as a health hazard.
Shaldon residents are fed-up and angry at the frequent flooding of the King George V field from an underground sewage tank.
'It happened again at the weekend, for the 11th time in two years, and we are demanding answers and a solution from South West Water,' said a furious parish council chairman, Cllr Tony Ryan (pictured).
'Every time there is heavy rain, it seems to flow into the storage tanks and when it overflows we get a horrible mess of sewage covering the field.
