A MAN has been sent to Exeter Crown Court for trial facing a charge of causing a woman fear of violence.

Christopher Kelly, 55, of Whitelake Place, Newton Abbot, pleaded not guilty to the charge of sending text messages threatening violence between July 7, 2021 and July 15, 2021.

Magistrates remanded him on unconditional bail for trial.
