A SEINE boat crew from Teignmouth will be rowing the 50 miles across Lyme Bay next month to raise funds for a charity for the blind. They are inspired by infant Theo Allison, who is related to two of the crew and suffers from a rare condition, septo-optic dysplasia, a form of blindness. Local businesses, Lazy Jacks, WTC Pest Controller, Hairazors and Pipex PX are sponsoring the event, and all money raised will go to the RNIB. The team of seven will be rowing a Teignmouth Rowing Club pilot gig, and a support boat will be crewed by Keith and Jane Stoyle. The magnificent seven pictured above left to right are, Ivan Tabbenor, Patrick Forster, Simon Putt, Joseph Lang, Tim Fortune, Tommy Stoyle and James Stoyle.
