IT is among the biggest of its kind in Devon, and this year’s Boxing Day dip in the sea at Teignmouth could attract even more bathers and spectators.
The traditional caper raises money for the local lifeboat, and last year more than 250 took the plunge in all sorts of weird and wonderful costumes, with more than 2,000 people cheering them on from the seafront.
Registration forms are available from the lifeboat station, Fairweather News and the Relish Cafe, both in Northumberland Place, or the tourist information centre.
Another method is to go online at [email protected]
Registration will start by the pier at 10am, with fancy dress judging beginning at 10.34am.
