A GROUP of Father Christmases from Hannahs at Seale-Hayne have been working off the mince pies as they prepare to undergo Plymouth’s Santa Fun Run next month.
The money raised from the event, organised by Saltram Rotary Club, will go to Hannahs and Jeremiah’s Journey.
Matt Newbury, Kate Patterson, Louise Johnstone and Rob Hoskins have been training around the grounds of Hannahs and are looking for supporters to join them in the festive run on December 4.
Emily Van Vliet, community engagement executive, said: ‘Last year Saltram Rotary donated an incredible £3,500 to Hannahs from the money raised by those participating in the Plymouth Santa Fun Run.
‘This made a huge difference to the lives of the people we support.’
Over the years the Santa Fun Run has raised more than £22,000 for the charity based in Newton Abbot.
