A SKIP will be available for Teignbridge villagers to dispose of bulky household items this autumn.

The service is provided by Teignbridge Council on an annual basis, to help residents who live far from a recycling centre.

In most places the skip will be available from 10am to 4pm.

A spokesman for TDC said: ‘This service is for bulky household waste only, please no trade waste.

‘And please don’t deposit any waste at the site before the skip has arrived.’

The skip is visiting Liverton tomorrow; Shaldon October 29; Dunchideock and Ide on November 5; Dawlish on November 19; and Ashburton on November 26.

For a list of items that can and can’t be dumped see the website at www.teignbridge.gov.uk/ruralskip or call the free recycling helpline on 0800 731 0323.
