A row over claims that items requested by councillors were not being put on the Teignmouth Town Council agenda continued at a full council meeting on Tuesday, including a claim the saga was bringing the authority into 'disrepute'.

Two weeks previously, Cllr Terry Falcao had accused the clerk, Dave Tickell, of refusing to place an item on the finance and general purposes committee agenda about the circumstances of who authorised the felling of trees in Bitton Park at a cost of several thousand pounds.
