THE Rotary Club of Teignmouth staged the president's dinner in the masonic hall this month.
President Mike Waters and his wife Marilyn hosted the black tie event, which was attended by around 60 Rotarians with their wives and other guests.
Entertainment was provided by Zak the comedic magician, and speeches and toasts followed the meal served by Phoenix Catering.
Rotarian and Teignmouth Pier owner Anthony Brenner said he was 'taken completely by surprise' at being awarded the Paul Harris Fellowship, Rotary's highest honour.
