A ROAD in and out of Newton Abbot that closed this morning, Friday, August 8, has reopened.

Wolborough Street was due to be closed over the weekend, reopening again on Tuesday, August 12.

But it has since reopened, though it will close from 8am on Monday, August 11.

Contractors’ signage and vehicles remain parked nearby.

The closure is to allow Wales & West Utilities to carry out ‘utility repair and maintenance works’, according to Devon County Council’s interactive roadworks map.
