Drivers in and around Teignbridge will have six National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

But motorists will be able to take some solace in the fact that all of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that six closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

A30, from 8pm May 7 to 6am May 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, Ide lane closure for surveys.

A30, from 8pm May 7 to 6am May 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Ide lane closure for surveys.

A38, from 8pm May 8 to 4am May 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Clay Lane to Chudleigh Station, lane closure for sign replacement.

A38, from 8pm May 8 to 4am May 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 Both directions Lower Dean to Dartbridge, lane closures for barrier repairs.

A30, from 8pm May 9 to 6am May 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Ide lane closure for surveys.

A38, from 9pm May 20 to 6am May 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 31, lane closure for electrical works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
