Drivers in and around Teignbridge will have seven National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing a holdup of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

A38, from 8pm February 9 to 6am February 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 31, lane closure for drainage works.

And a further six closures will begin over the next two weeks:

A30, from 7pm February 12 to 5am February 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, South Tawton lane closure for horticultural works.

A38, from 8pm February 15 to 4am February 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Drumbridges exit slip road lane closure for barrier repair.

A38, from 7pm February 20 to 6am February 24, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A38 eastbound, Goodstone exit slip road closure for S278, junction developer works, diversion via A38 eastbound to Drumbridges, A382 and A383.

A38, from 7pm February 22 to 6am February 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Clay Lane to Drumbridges lane closure for drainage survey.

A38, from 6pm February 26 to 5am February 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Chudleigh Knighton lane closure for horticultural works.

A38, from 7pm February 26 to 6am February 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Goodstone Cross entry slip road closure for resurfacing, diversion via Bickington to Drumbridges junction.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
