Drivers in and around Teignbridge will have four National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

But motorists will be able to take some solace in the fact that all of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

A30, from 7pm July 5 to 6am July 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 31 to junction 30 - carriageway closure for structural works. Diversion for A30 via A379, Marsh Barton and A377 or for A38 via A379.

A38, from 9pm July 10 to 6am July 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Haldon Hill lane closure for Openreach works.

A38, from 10pm July 10 to 5am July 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Kennford lane closure for Devon County Council works.

A38, from 7.30pm July 17 to 6am July 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Ashburton, Linhay, junction exit slip road closure and convoy working for resurfacing, diversion via A38 eastbound to Goodstone and return.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
