Drivers in and around Teignbridge will have eight National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And four of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that eight closures are due to start this week:

A38, from 7pm to 10pm on May 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Clay Lane exit slip lane closure and traffic signals for Devon County Council works.

A30, from 8pm May 15 to 6am May 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 31 to 30 carriageway closure for road markings, diversion for A30 traffic via A377, Cowick Lane, Marsh Green Road West, Trusham Road, B3123 and A379, diversion for A38 traffic via A379.

A38, from 9pm May 17 to 4am May 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Chudleigh lane closure for tree works.

A30, from 8pm May 18 to 4am May 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 Both Directions Alphington to Fingle Glen lane closures for barrier repair.

A30, from 10pm May 19 to 6am May 20, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A30 eastbound, link road to A38 westbound, (M5, junction 31) carriageway closure for barrier repair, diversion via Alphington exit, A377, local roads and A379 to Wobbly Wheel.

M5, from 8pm May 23 to 6am May 24, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 29 to 31 lane closure for white lining.

A30, from 8pm May 24 to 6am May 25, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 31 exit slip closed for white lining, diversion for exit slip via A38 Kennford, junction and back.

A30, from 10pm May 25 to 6am May 26, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 31 closed between exit and entry slip for white lining, diversion via A30 to Alphington, junction and back.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
