THE great and the good from Teignmouth's branch of the Royal National Lifeboat Institute (RNLI) are on the lookout for volunteers to join them.

A spokesman for Teignmouth RNLI said: 'We can only keep people safe thanks to our amazing volunteers – and we'd love you to join us!'

Teignmouth RNLI currently have positions available to join its Volunteer Inshore Lifeboat Crew and Volunteer Water Safety Team.

'Give us your time and you’ll play a crucial part in saving lives at sea' the spokesman added.
