The Teignmouth RNLI fundraising team kick-off a summer of events with The Big Book Sale at The TAAG Centre, Northumberland Place today.

There will be more than 1,500 books available including hardbacks, fiction, non-fiction, coffee table books and over 400 children’s titles from pre-school to teenage.

The sale starts at 10am and runs until 4pm. The team will also be on hand to serve tea, coffee, homemade cakes and refreshments throughout the day.

And volunteers are being sought to help with the big events this summer. People who can help with publicity, cake making, managing events, and much more are needed.
