ONE of the main organisers of the first Teignmouth Classical Music Festival was 'astonished at the rich feast of music' performed.

Cllr Terry Falcao, who suggested the festival late last year, said the event at the weekend had been so successful that they were already planning another for March next year.

With financial support from the town and district councils, and support from the Co-op, Teignmouth First and South Devon Singers, the first festival was held on Friday and Saturday.
