A RESTAURANT at Trago Mills is set to reopen this week, the department store has confirmed.

The Staple Hill Restaurant will reopen on Wednesday, May 20.

The opening has been made possible thanks to a collaboration between Trago Mills, Warrens Bakery and the latter’s sister brand, Goodness.

In December 2025, Trago Mills announced that the leisure park and Staple Hill restaurant complex were to close.

At the time, store bosses said it was with ‘great regret’ they confirmed its closure on December 31, following a period of consultation.

The decision was made ‘with careful consideration of the long-term viability of the operation’.

However, the leisure park has since reopened, with experienced leisure operative Play Leisure Services at the helm.

And now the restaurant is following suit.

‘The much-loved Staple Hill Restaurant at our Newton Abbot store is reopening this Wednesday, May 20’, Trago Mills said via its Facebook page.
