RAIL and road problems and a flying trampoline were among the many problems as Storm Bella hit Devon over the weekend.

While gusts of wind up to 106mph were recorded elsewhere off the Isle of Wight, Teignbridge took a battering too.

Trees and branches fell on many of the district’s roads and flooding on the rail line between Exeter St David’s and Barnstaple hit train services in Devon.

Mrs Anne White sent us this picture of a neighbour’s trampoline that took off and landed on their shed at Lindridge Lane, Kingsteignton. Fortunately no-one was injured.

While David Bickley sent in this picture of a fallen tree on Manor Close, Abbotskerswell.
