THE BISHOP Lacy Inn, an historic Grade II listed pub situated in the heart of Chudleigh, raised more than £2,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust following a music event.

The concert featured live music throughout the afternoon and into the evening: Alpha Tide; Bicycle Repair Man; DJ Vegboy Slim, the Ukeabillies and the Loose Cannons took to the stage - the stage being the back of a lorry provided by Transport & Plant Training.

Landlady Wendy Bishop said: ‘Lots of people turned out, it was really really good, everyone had a good time.

‘I may have been the person to egg people on but it’s all the volunteers, the bands, the local companies supporting us, it’s them who made the event what it was.’

Supporting the event was Barney’s Hog Roast alongside Woods, STR Logistics, Stonewood Construction Services and Perrin & Son Construction.

The Bishop Lacy Inn raised £1,921.33 on the day, increasing to £2,268.33 by the time the money was paid in to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
