DESPITE residents complaining of increased noise levels, rowdy customers, fighting, obscene language and fouling, Belgravia Leisure Ltd has been allowed to increase the licensing hours for F&R's, 19 Northumberland Place, Teignmouth, by an hour to 1.30am from Thursdays to Saturdays.

Granting the application on Friday, the chairman of Teignbridge Licensing Sub-Committee, Cllr Ted Hockin, told designated premises supervisor Graham Wilson that it took the concerns of interested parties seriously.

'We strongly advise the applicant to ensure that the staff keep by the rules,' he said.
