Teignmouth traders launched their latest 'loyalty booklet' to great acclaim.

It was unveiled at a packed Take 2, and as well as more than 40 pages of fascinating facts and information about the town, also includes a loyalty card that offers discounts and rewards at nearly 50 businesses.

Deputy mayor Cllr David Cox praised the initiative and thanked Jacqui Orme, who created, designed and published the booklet.

Costing £2.50, the glossy publication includes details on Teignmouth during the 50s, tales of paranormal experiences and ghosts, and stories on many other local subjects such as Jason's Garden and the Riviera Cinema.

'It was really good to see so many people at the launch. It just goes to show that Teignmouth is a town of spirit and endeavour, and battling hard in these challenging times,' said Ms Orme
