WHEN a horse bolted and ran amok along busy city roads, it was a Teignmouth couple who saved the day.
Melissa and Bill Middleton managed to comfort Charlie, the terrified stallion after it galloped through five miles of rush hour traffic.
It was lucky there were no injuries to motorists, pedestrians or the horse in Exeter, and the efforts of Melissa and Bill Middleton who run the Whistlestop Cafe at Teignmouth station, and founded the Devon Equine Crisis Support charity, were praised by police and the RSPCA.READ THE FULL STORY IN TEIGNMOUTH POST, NOVEMBER 24.
