THE collective effort of several of the town’s business has seen life-saving equipment installed in Bovey Tracey.
A defibrillator, avaliable to the public 24 hours a day, seven days a week, has been installed on Pottery Road.
‘A special thanks to Ann Williams for her leadership and to Pottery Road Garage, Kenmart Limited, Cannon Autobodies and Electrical Solutions South West Ltd for their support’ a spokesperson for the House of Marbles said.
‘This initiative, in partnership with Jay’s AIM, not only enhances local safety but also reflects our broader commitment to health, well-being and community engagement.
‘It’s a testament to what we can achieve together, setting a standard for communities nationwide’ they added.
Jay’s AIM is a registered charity providing public access defibrillators, CPR and defibrillator training and cardiac screening.
