P&O cruise ship Arcadia could be seen off the coast of Dawlish today.
The ship, one of the smallest in the cruise company’s fleet, was due to have visited Guernsey today.
The Channel Islands port is well known as being a destination subject to cancellations.
Strong winds are regularly a cause of cancelled stops for cruise ships which use smaller tender boats to ferry passengers to the island.
The ship was on a three day round trip from Southampton.
Built in 2005, it carries up to 2,480 passengers and has an 84,000 gross tonnage.
