WHILE on foot patrol in Teignmouth for the town's carnival, officers were very nearly dragged along by a car which had failed to stop.

The vehicle has since been located, seized and driver identified.

'We will find you, even on foot' a spokesman for Teignmouth and Dawlish Police said.
