RESIDENTS in Newton Abbot are being invited to meet their local neighbourhood policing team at a community surgery this August.

The event will take place from 10.30am on Wednesday, August 19 on Bank Street.

It offers an opportunity for people to discuss local concerns directly with officers.

Police are encouraging members of the public to attend, ask questions and learn more about the work being carried out to tackle issues affecting the area.

Everyone is welcome to attend.

Officers are also urging residents to take part in the local priority survey, which helps identify community concerns and shape future policing priorities.

Feedback from the survey will help ensure police focus on the issues that matter most.
