RESIDENTS in Newton Abbot are being invited to meet their local neighbourhood policing team during a community engagement event in the town centre this week.

The event will take place on Wednesday, July 15, from 10.30am to 12.30pm, and will give residents the opportunity to raise concerns, discuss local issues and find out more about how police are tackling community priorities.

The Newton Abbot neighbourhood team is encouraging people to attend and share their views, helping officers understand the issues that matter most locally.

The event is open to everyone, although residents are advised that it could be cancelled at short notice due to operational policing demands.
