THERE have been further reports of burglaries to commercial properties inTeignbridge this weekend, police have said.

The Coastal and Rural Teignbridge Neighbourhood Team made the announcement late Sunday night.

Thanks to some good work across various departments, a suspect has been linked to the incidents and arrested.

‘The suspect will be interviewed in due course, and a decision will be made as to the next steps’ a spokesperson for the Coastal and Rural Teignbridge Neighbourhood Team said.

It comes after outboard boat engines and other items were stolen during a burglary of a Teignbridge business.

Approximately £150,000 worth of property, including numerous outboard engines, a quadbike and other marine equipment was stolen.
