THERE have been further reports of burglaries of commercial properties inTeignbridge this weekend, police have said.

The Coastal and Rural Teignbridge Neighbourhood Team made the announcement late Sunday night.

And though the team admitted that this was not ‘good news’, the silver lining was that, thanks to some good work across various departments, a suspect has been linked to the incidents and was subsequently arrested.

‘The suspect will be interviewed in due course, and a decision will be made as to the next steps’ a spokesperson for the Coastal and Rural Teignbridge Neighbourhood Team said.

It comes after outboard boat engines and other items were stolen during a burglary of a Teignbridge business.
