POLICE are reminding people not to enter a Kingskerswell property subject to a closure order.
Officers from Newton Abbot’s neighbourhood team have issued a ‘polite warning’ over the Newton Road house.
‘This property has been subject to a formal closure order by order of the courts, and is not an abandoned address’ the team said.
‘Anyone found within the premises, outbuildings, and boundary will be subject to a formal prosecution’ they added.
The property in question has been shut since April after persistent antisocial behaviour (ASB) was reported to the police.
In light of concerns over violence, drug use and general disorder, Devon & Cornwall Police secured a full, three-month closure order, which make it an offence for anyone to enter.
