EIGHT vehicles were badly damaged during a vandalism spree in west Teignmouth early on Sunday.The cost of repairs is estimated at thousands of pounds, and police have arrested a 23-year-old local man in connection with the attacks.Chief Insp Chris Shaw said nothing was stolen from the cars and vans.'The motive appears to be just sheer vandalism, and it has inconvenienced a lot of people who woke up to find their vehicles damaged for no apparent reason,' he said.
