Mid-Devon Advertiser reader Rob Bedward, of Ipplepen uncovered this peacock butterfly while rummaging in his yard.

Rob said: ’I don’t think I’ve ever seen a butterfly out this early before. After taking the picture I gently covered it over as I found it.’
