HALLOWEEN hokum passed off without any disturbances for police to deal with on the annual spook night across Teignbridge. Officers reported a quiet period in around the Newton Abbot area where the only demands on the 999 service were from misbehaving adults. A police spokesman revealed that three people were dealt with for alleged domestic assaults - two in Newton Abbot and one in Kingskerswell. A criminal damage complaint was also logged locally on Saturday night - and this was again of a domestic nature. Police also dealt with someone who had over-indulged on the drinking front.
