FIREFIGHTERS vented a smoke-affected flat after a pan blaze in Teignmouth’s Parson Street.

Fire crews from Teignmouth and Dawlish attended the small fire involving a pan after the 999 call was made just before 6.30pm on Friday.

They found the incident had already been dealt with.

A fire spokesman said: ‘They made sure everything was safe and completely out whilst ventilating the property.’
