THE Ship Inn, Cockwood held a charity Paella Evening in aid of 2401 (Dawlish School) Squadron of the Royal Air Force Air Cadets.
The landlord, Mr Matt Brown, said he was delighted to present them with a cheque for £200 at the end of a superb evening with good food and company.
He added: ‘The Ship Inn is pleased to support local charities and this time it was the turn of our youth, previously last Autumn it was in aid of Dawlish Community Transport.’
The event was co-ordinated by Ted Hockin and John Clatworthy.
