FOLLOWING a successful post-pandemic return to the stage with a regional tour of the epic Ben Hur, the South Devon Players have announced open auditions for their next show Beowulf.
Beowulf, the theatre show, is based closely upon the original epic tenth century poem and centres on a powerful warrior of legend, who protects both their clan and other friendly clans from dark ancient creatures.
The drama will be performed in venues around South Devon as well as being streamed online worldwide and all roles are open for casting.
People of all backgrounds, and at all levels of experience, from absolute beginners to professinal performers are welcome
Anyone who is interested in auditioning is asked to visit the auditions page on the website www.southdevonplayers.com for all the show information, and to come along to the open auditions at Chestnut Community Centre in Brixham at 12.30pm on Sunday, June 19, where all attendees will be auditioned.
