A PASSENGER involved in a collision near Newton Abbot this morning, Wednesday, September 17, has been taken to hospital.

Police received reports of a two-vehicle collision in Besigheim Way, Newton Abbot, at around 8.20am.

A female passenger in one of the vehicles has been taken to hospital.

‘Her injuries are not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening’, says a spokesperson for Devon & Cornwall Police.

‘Vehicles have been recovered and the road was fully reopened at around 10.45am’, the spokesperson added.
