All households in the Ogwell area have received a consultation document containing ideas for the future. Options, based upon previous consultations, include a new pre-school facility, a local sports area, allotment space, a ‘community hub’ and safe pathways to link communities. Residents are invited to complete a questionnaire and return it by October 7. The results of the questionnaire will be incorporated into the Neighbourhood Plan which the Parish Council’s Steering Group intend to submit to Teignbridge in early 2016. Chair of the Parish Council Michael Simmons said: ‘It is really important to hear from as many local residents as we can so we can assess with confidence which options are favoured. ‘We also want to hear of any other ideas or proposals people might have.’ Anyone wishing to support the group is invited to their monthly meetings.
