BUDDING performers are being encouraged to sign up for this year’s instalment of Newton’s Got Talent.

The popular talent show, which made its debut in 2016, is back this summer and applications are now open.

Magicians, entertainers, musicians, jugglers, poets, dancers and gymnasts are just a few of the people who can enter the competition.

A whole host of prizes are up for grabs at the finals including a spot on the bill at next year’s Glas-Denbury music festival and a PR package from Quiet Dream Productions.

Anyone who lives, work or goes to school in the TQ12 area are eligible to apply but you can’t be a full time professional.

To apply visit and download the application form which, when completed, must be emailed to or by posting it to Quiet Dream Productions, Lower House, West Street, Denbury, TQ12 6DP.

All applications should contain footage of your act and any technical requirements or stage plans.

Auditions will be held at a venue in Newton Abbot from 1pm until 6pm on April 20 and from 10am until 5pm on April 21 with the grand final taking place on July 15 at Coombeshead Academy.
