A NIGHT of comedy and live entertainment is being held in Newton Abbot to raise money for Newton Town FC and help fund new equipment for the grassroots club.

The event, organised by local parent Sadie-Jane Beer, will take place at 6.30pm on Friday, November 27, at The Keyberry Hotel on Kingskerswell Road.

Comedy legend Tank Sherman will host the evening, with a variety of performers also taking to the stage.

Acts include Cooper King, described as the UK’s youngest Elvis tribute, Dolly Partley, Tap Fever and Euphoria Performing Arts.

Tickets cost £12 and include a buffet, with the bar also open throughout the evening.

Sadie-Jane said all proceeds would go towards equipment for Newton Town FC, where her son Joey plays.

She said: ‘The training at Newton Town FC is impeccable.

‘The coaches are nurturing and inclusive of all, and they volunteer.

‘We cannot thank them enough, and this event is to give something back to the club’.

Newton Town FC provides football opportunities for boys and girls aged three to 16, promoting teamwork, friendship and participation for players of all abilities.
