A WOMAN was injured when she fell from her Honda 125 motorcycle in Bishopsteignton this morning.

The rider, in her 40s and from Newton Abbot, suffered a suspected knee injury in the accident which happened on Teignmouth Road (A381) near Metro Motors at 8.30am.

She was taken by ambulance to Newton Abbot Hospital for a check-up.

No other vehicles were involved in the accident.

The Devon Air Ambulance was called to the scene – but it wasn’t needed.
