A MAN from Newton Abbot has been charged with a drug offence.

Ashley Yesufu, 31, of Bluebell Walk, Highweek, is accused of possession of cannabis between January 11 and 12, 2022 to which he has pleaded guilty.

He has denied a further charge of failing to supply a specimen of breath when required under the Road Traffic Act having been suspected of driving in Torquay on January 12, 2022.

Magistrates remanded him on unconditional bail until May 30.
