THINGS are warming up at Teignmouth's old Ice Factory.

The building in Somerset Place has been taken over by drama group The Teignmouth Players, and being converted into a new permanent home.

The group had to move from the crumbling Carlton Theatre on the seafront, which was long past its sell by date, and is now in the process of being demolished to make way for a new £4.5 million multi-purpose building, the Carlton Pavilion, It is due for completion late next year.<
