A CAFE to give adults with disabilities some skills and employment experience in Newton Abbot has been given a big Lottery funding boost.
The Forde Park Community Project has received £15,000 from the Postcode Lottery Trust to help turn the disused pavilion building in the park into a cafe, manned by people with disabilities.
The project’s committee has been fundraising and securing grants to give the pavilion at the Decoy park, owned by Teignbridge Council, a new lease of life for more than two years.
