FILMMAKER Diana Townsend is ‘delighted’ her first feature film will be premiered at the Pavilions Teignmouth on April 11.

Deadly Intent is an intriguing paranormal thriller about a widow and her young son who are struggling to come to terms with the death of the boy’s father.

‘Many scenes were filmed in and around Teignmouth. We received a huge amount of support from local businesses and individuals, so it is only fitting that we should have the premiere here as a way of showing our appreciation,’ said Ms Townsend.

‘One of the most evocative scenes in the film was shot on the beach right next to the Pavilions. It is a stunning location and looks amazing on screen.’

After the premiere, Deadly Intent will be available on DVD and will be released on a selection of online platforms during the summer.
