EMPTY bottles and packets of dangerous prescription drugs – including methadone, the heroin substitute used to aid withdrawal – with names of patients on the side were found blowing around a Teignmouth street.
Also leaking from a wheelie type bin were documents containing names of local medical practices, doctors and patients and the type of drugs prescribed, including penicillin.
Among the names was that of a clergyman.
The discovery shocked a passer-by who contacted the Teignmouth Post, and declared: 'It is quite appalling and somebody should be held responsible.
