MORE than 500 people in Teignbridge had Covid in the past week, according to the latest government figures.
Between February 24 and March 2, 549 people had a confirmed positive test result. This shows a decrease of -12.0%compared to the previous seven days.
Between February 24 and March 2, there have been three deaths in Teignbridge within 28 days of a positive coronavirus test.
The number of tests carried out has also decreased as between February 23 and March 1 , there have been 16,241tests in Teignbridge, a decrease of -19.2% compared to the previous seven days.
The vaccination programme continues in the district and by the end of March 1, 112,185 people had been given a first dose, 107,162 people had been given a second dose and 91,520 people had been given a booster or third dose.
