DARTH Vader, from Star Wars, will be bringing extra light to Teignmouth when he switches on the Christmas illuminations tonight.

He will be escorted by friends and putting on a light display from 6pm.

Iain Palmer. from the Teignmouth Traders' Association, which is organising the event, said there would be more festive light in the town this year, with the addition of Teign Street, along with about 60 illuminated trees throughout the streets.
