TEIGNMOUTH students are discovering just how wild, wet and cold the weather can be on Dartmoor.
Groups from Years 9 to 13 at the community school are training for the annual Ten Tors expedition and had to cope with snow, rain and wind on the high moor.
Snow prevented the 35-mile team, the least experienced, from taking part in a hike, but the 45-mile and 55-mile squads managed to overcome the elements and hone their navigation, teamwork and leadership skills.
